Congratulations to the 2007 Boston Red Sox. The best team in baseball!
(thanks for indulging me on this one…great season for a great team…it was fun to experience it all as a fan and so much fun to celebrate reaching the pinnacle! It’s something i hope every fan can experience at some point in their lives.)

The Boston area is giddy right about now when it comes to sports. I understand they almost put off game four until today so they didn’t get in the way of A-Rod opting out of his contract! He will be heading for his fourth team and I would think he should make it his last. Doesn’t speak too well of him all this moving around and his seemingly prima donna emotions and his failure to produce when it counts.
Props to the Red Sox but you have to admit the N.L. is pretty darn pathetic these days.

Erunner, you’re right about the N.L. There is a huge difference between the two. The high payrolls of the Sox and Yankees have forced other AL Teams to pony up money if they want to compete, and it’s lead to much more talent being in the American League.
