is there any reason why a game 7 isn’t a good idea? whoever prevails at that point, it’s a great story and a huge win. if it ends tonight, i sort of feel cheated. no disrespect to the Celtics but how many times are the Lakers going to blow a lead like that? like, never! even if they lose, it just feels right for Kobe to make it to a game 7.

i know this, i’m going to be bummed if i stay up that late to see it through to the end, and there is no game 7. i’m already working on a sleep deficit, and it would be nice to be rewarded with one last game in the Garden.

i want the Lakers/Celtics for 7 games. what else are you going to watch? this or this. give me a break!

the last game 7.

tonight while i am watching Game 6, my wife will be watching the Bachelorette. (i’ve written this before, but i think its the cruelest show on television).

as for the bball game, unlike you Jim, I’ll be rooting for a decisive end to this series in Game 6. Go Celts.

    Hey Jim,
Though I was not only happy to see the Celtics win but excited to see them pound the Lakers in the second quarter of Game 6 making the rest of the game (and therefore Game 7) completely irrelevant… I have realized the truth of your words already.

    What else is there?

Fortunately this year we have Euro 2008 to hang on to for a bit, but we don’t get any meaningful sports until August when the Olympics hit us and then the crunch of baseball in September finally comes. Well, I guess it’s out to the garden for two months. Time to break out the bocce :)

Hey, Euro 2008 has actually been pretty fun. But yeah…summer has started, and that means I can almost taste the college football season….oh, the agony of waiting!
