Paul Byrd Putting on Red Sox

If you're new here, and you're into sports and/or the Christian faith, subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Paul Byrd, an athlete we’ve highlighted here at PFB a few times, was just traded to my favoritest team ever, the Boston Red Sox.

The Sox are in need of pitching help with Tim Wakefield on the DL, Clay Buchholz not pitching well, and Bartolo Colon weighing more than Tim, Clay, and a pitching machine combined.

PFB writer Jim Palmer, who is friends with Paul (a relationship he wrote about here), will hopefully find creative ways to turn that friendship into Red Sox tickets for me during these last two months of the season. Or at the very least an autographed hair out of Kevin Youkilis’ goattee.

Good Luck Paul! (I really, really mean it!)

I’m really torn here. I like Paul Byrd, but I’ll have trouble pulling for him now. I wish him all the best, but I hate to see such a good guy go to Boston. Oh well. ;)

If Jim is any kind of friend to PfB at all, I fully expect a guest post from Paul Byrd by the end of the year.

How come there’s no talk about the BoSox on here right now, Bry? Is that because you’ve got nothing Godly to say?

Too bad for Ronzilla, though, that he’ll be bored in October like I usually am.
