Ryder Cup? Does it get delivered in a yellow truck?

Somehow individual golf gets me at least moderately interested... team golf: not so much.

Who is the AFC Elite though?

Look, here are the 8 best teams in the AFC right now: Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Indy, Ten, Jax, Denver, San Diego. Everyone has a flaw. Big Ben is banged up, SD, Jax, and Indy have 2 losses, and Baltimore is going to struggle offensively. It's definitely anyone's game, but the way Denver is playing right now, they have to be considered one of the favorites.

I guess if I had to bunch them, I would stick TEN, DEN, and PIT as my top 3 based on their hot starts and talent. Then I'd rank SD, IND, and JAX as very talented teams with 2 losses against them. BUF has to be the favorite to win the East right now, and Baltimore, well, I need to see more of them.

As a huge Broncos fan, I am beyond ecstatic for my team to be 3-0 at this point. Gotta take issue with you saying they are among the AFC elite though - the offense can put points on the board with the best of 'em but their defense can't stop anyone, unfortunately. There's going to be a lot of sweating out the ends of games as has been the case the past couple of weeks. Fortunately, I don't see anyone in the AFC that's unbeatable on any given night, so I'm still remaining optimistic.

Also: didn't watch the Ryder Cup (happy for the US though I continue to remain fairly apathetic towards golf in general), UNC had a bad football weekend losing to Va Tech in a game they definitely should have won and lost our starting QB in the process, and though I hate the Yankees I reluctantly admit that watching a day game there was a blast.

I watched almost all of Sunday's RC coverage. I am one of the "If Tiger isn't in a position to win a major on Sunday then I am not interested" golf watchers and I ultimately tuned in only because we had a chance to win the Cup for the first time in a decade. Pretty compelling... Did they dress like Tiger on purpose?

I'll take the collapse of both the Phils and Mets puh-lease... it's only fair since the Brew Crew's collapse put them both in the position to smell the play-offs.

Gotta agree with the 'Stros on the Miller Park game. When I heard that was where it was going to be played I wondered if there would be even one Houston fan present. It's 50/50 now when it's Brewers v. Cubs. Talk about a bad weekend! Your town blown apart then a crucial home game gets switched to a virtual home game for the other guy... then Z throws a no-no on our field! Good grief...

Looking forward to a miracle finish from the Crew and Bucky's first win in Ann Arbor in a LONG time...GO BIG RED!
