Cameron Strang Hates Cubs Fans

If you're new here, and you're into sports and/or the Christian faith, subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Earlier today on his twitter account, RELEVANT Media Group Dude Cameron Strang had this to say:

“Congrats to Pitt (USF needed to be taken down a notch) and the Dodgers (I like seeing Cubs fans suffer).”

Cameron claims to be a Christian, and yet he revels in the suffering of an oppressed people group? It’s not that he is just indifferent to the suffering of Cubs fans…he actually enjoys seeing them suffer.

Will this cause Christian Cubs fans to protest by canceling their subscriptions to RELEVANT? Will Strang have to backpedal from his statement once Cubs fans put pressure on him?

What do you have to say Cubs fans? I know you’re out there. Are you gonna take this?

bryan, i am sure cameron is merely alluding to 1 Peter 4:19, which states “So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.” Clearly, God’s will in this case is for the Cubs to not win the World Series, so he is refocusing their fans’ energy on what is important. Cameron just sees the bigger picture here.

(by the way, I’m kidding - Cubs fans, (bites lip Bill Clinton-style) I feel your pain)

c’mon Boyett, you know I want your opinion on this. This man has paid some bills for you in the past! As a Cubs fan, you better step up!

My biggest beef with Cubs fans is the ridiculous amounts of money they spend on tickets for the Cubs v. Brewers in Miller Park forcing Milwaukeeans to sell their souls for mammon. (Then I got hooked up on Facebook and my disdain for Cubbie-dom grew.) As I have wallowed in the ineptitude that has become the Crew this post-season my only consolation is that the Cubbies have dropped 2 AT HOME. And if their greater suffering somehow brings a ray of grey sunshine on my suffering, then I can live with that.

    GO CREW!
