So Auburn isn’t very good at football this year. In fact, we are pretty awful. Notice I say we. I know some people get upset when fans refer to their teams as we, but I think as long as you still say we when your team is bad, your OK.
Anyway, this morning I saw this clip. It shows Bo Jackson throwing out Harold Reynolds from left field. Bo throws the ball flat footed from the wall, and flies the ball to the catcher, nailing Reynolds by a foot.
It’s doubtful there will ever be another Bo Jackson, but I have no doubt Auburn will be good again. So until then, I’ll waller in the past…

That is funny. I know Bama has no Heisman winners but I’ll take 12 National Championships any day over a individual award. Ya’ll have had Bama’s number while we get out of a Phil Fulmer induced probation but I think the “TIDE” has turned.
BTW,
I do like Bo Jackson. I was at all of the Iron Bowls he played in. He ripped my heart out when he went over the top to break our 10 in a row streak and I cheered as he ran the wrong way for Brent Fulwood when Mike Shula was QB. There is nothing like SEC football.

Looking at “our” remaining schedule already has me wishing Basketball Bucky’s first game was this Saturday instead of our date with Iowa.
I didn’t watch BJ play college ball, but I do remember him and Wade Boggs leading off the All-Star game with back to back HR’s. I also don’t remember his Iron Bowl days, but I do remember his Tecmo Bowl days! In my college house we had a “No Bo Jackson” rule for our head to head games. Man, he was awesome!

Unfortunately, Auburn basketball hasn’t been anything to look forward to in recent years. We do have a new baseball coach, so maybe that will improve.
