About PFB
If you're new here, and you're into sports and/or the Christian faith, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Prayers for Blowouts is a blog.
A blog is a a nickname for a blind frog. It is also a nickname for a black Quahog.
A blog is also something you subscribe to, like the BMG Music Service, only we don’t send you CDs every month that you have to send back.
Every blog needs a focus. Ours is sports. We love sports here at PFB. 99% of all of our posts will be sports-related. The other 1% will be blind frog-related.
As often as possible, we will explore issues of sports and faith here at PFB. These two things tend to collide often, and when they do we’ll be there to let you know about it, providing insight and opinion whenever it seems fit.
You might be wondering if this is a “christian site”.
Well, since we subscribe to the “knowing Jesus and having faith in his life, death, and resurrection” definition of Christianity, and since a website can’t really know anyone or have faith in anything, we probably wouldn’t call this a Christian site.
What you won’t find here is mockery of religion, cuss-filled rants (we’ll leave that your uncle Jim), or pictures of cheerleaders (clothed or otherwise) and athlete groupies. There are plenty of other sites who specialize in that stuff, so we’ll leave it to them. We will make every attempt to never send you to other pages that are NSFW (not safe for work). Some of the sites we link to might feature that type of content on other pages, so once you start surfing away from there, you’re on your own. (But you’re an adult and you knew that anyway)
any questions, ideas, unsolvable math equations, or criticisms, can be sent to prayersforblowouts (at) gmail (dot) com.
Thanks, bryan
